What capacity do you need?
300 ml is compact and fits any gym bag, 500 to 600 ml is the usual size for one protein shake with water or milk, and 700 to 750 ml gives room to shake well or to top up with water afterwards. Most shakers have a ml and oz scale on the side.
Shaker ball, strainer or mixing grid?
All three break up lumps in powder. A shaker ball moves loose inside the cup; a strainer or mixing grid sits under the cap. The stainless steel shaker uses a shaker ball, the 700 ml protein shaker an integrated strainer and the shaker with carry loop a mixing grid.
